Uploading my imaging 

Please be aware that is the patient´s responsibility to verify that the correct scans have been acquired, in the correct format, and uploaded correctly. 

PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A CONSULT UNTIL ALL REQUIRED IMAGING IS OBTAINED. 

Lack of appropriate imaging could result in extra charges and/or postponement of appointment. If you have additional imaging that you would like to include that is recent (less than two years old) and pertinent to your condition, please wait to request an evaluation until all the scans are available to upload. 

It may be helpful to have a friend or a family member assist with uploading the DICOM files.

Please verify the following before uploading your scans.

• Correct imaging has been acquired (to review the required imaging, click HERE).
• Imaging is in DICOM format. Download a free DICOM reader HERE. We only accept imaging in DICOM file format.
• We do not accept password-protected files. If your imaging is password protected, kindly open it with the password, download it to your computer, and upload it to Google drive.
• We do not accept hard-copies (CD:s, pendrives etc.).

How to upload to Dropbox/Google drive

1. Click the Google drive link sent to your email.
2. Click on the tab “upload folder”.
3. Select the folder(s) that contains your scan/s.
   1. DICOM images are sometimes labelled “DICOM” (not DICOMdir) or the folder name begins with “S” or “A” followed by a series of numbers. Sometimes it can be found in a folder labeled “viewers.”
   2. If in doubt how to find the correct folder, upload the whole CD. Please be aware this can take several hours.
