Upload Your Medical Imaging for Expert Spine & Neurosurgery Evaluation
Patient Responsibility: It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct imaging studies have been acquired, formatted properly, and uploaded successfully for Dr. Gilete’s neurosurgical and spine evaluation.
Important: Do not request a consultation until all required imaging is available. Missing or incomplete scans may result in extra fees or appointment delays. If you have additional, pertinent imaging performed within the last two years, please wait until all files are ready to upload.
Pre-Upload Checklist
Before starting the upload process, please verify:
- Correct Imaging Protocols: Review the required imaging studies to confirm you have every scan needed for a comprehensive evaluation.
- DICOM Format Only: We accept only DICOM files. To inspect your images, download the free RadiAnt DICOM Viewer at www.radiantviewer.com.
- No Password Protection: If your files are password-protected, open them with the password, save them unprotected on your computer, then upload.
- Digital Files, Please: We cannot accept CDs, DVDs, USB drives, or other physical media—uploads must be through our secure link.
How to Upload via Dropbox or Google Drive
- Access Your Link: Click the Google Drive link you received by email.
- Upload Folder: Select the Upload Folder tab in the Drive interface.
- Choose Your Folder(s): DICOM folders may be labelled “DICOM,” start with “S” or “A” plus numbers, or reside in a “viewers” directory. If unsure, upload the entire CD content—note this may take several hours depending on file size.
- Tip: Having a friend or family member assist can make handling large DICOM data much smoother.
